What is this?

The Medarot Card Game (メダロットカードゲーム) is a Japanese collectible card game released by Tenky from 1998-1999, as part of the Medarot franchise – known to us in the West as Medabots.

Card Robottle is a fan-made, non-profit translation of that card game for English-speaking audiences that have so far been unable to enjoy this piece of trading card game and Medarot history.

The rulebook is being translated from front to back and will be reworked and broken up into an easier-to-understand “Learn to Play” book and a rules reference document.

The card template has been replicated as faithfully as possible to the original cards, element by element. Once completed, you can upload the card files to your favourite online card-printing service and get yourself a set made.

This is a work in progress. I speak little to no Japanese and I don’t get paid to do this. But with a little bit of determination and support of the Medarot fan base, this project is coming together. Please be patient and follow along with updates on progress. All content will be made available for free here on this site as it becomes ready for release.

All currently released cards can be found HERE. An early version of the Learn To Play document can be found HERE. Please feel free to use, share, and send feedback!
